Finally, a safe and fun way to carry your indoor cat on outdoor adventures, a chance for your feline to boldly go where no kitty has ventured before, to the supermarkets? To the shops? To the pub?
A ventilated backpack, or more aptly, a cat pack, has been generating a lot of interest recently on the social media scene — and for good reason. It can finally provide safe transportation and a comfortable viewing platform for previously locked up indoor cats. Even the most contented indoor cats seem to yearn for a bit of the great outdoors, but actually allowing them out of the house isn’t always an option or a good idea.
A company called U-Pet sells the clever pet carrier in The U.S and online, which boasts a number of products all featuring the unique bubble window design, and of course, openings to allow plenty of fresh air in.
“Give your pets a window to the world,” the company writes online. “They also want to enjoy the scenery and interact with the outside world.”
A photo has been making the rounds on social media showing a rather funny little scene of a cat in a backpack peering out through a porthole window bravely exploring the wide reaches of the world beyond.
Selling on Amazon.com and starting at $99, U-Pet’s products have an average customer rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars. Also, it turns out that small dogs enjoy feeling like cosmonauts, too.
One reviewer writes: “The carrier is not only really cool, but very well made! My yorkie enjoys the bubble window and I get lots of compliments on it.”
“My cat is abut 18 lbs so I got the largest size,” writes another. “He’s snug inside but I can’t stop smiling when I see his head fill up the astronaut bubble!!!!”

As long as it doesn’t poop or get travel sick in there, everything should be fine!
