Culture makes people understand each other better. And if they understand each other better in their soul, it is easier to overcome the economic and political barriers. But first they have to understand that their neighbour is, in the end, just like them, with the same problems, the same questions.

Now You can Live Anywhere in the World with the Solar and Wind Powered Ecocapsule
There are two major trends in housing that are becoming more popular every year: Living off the grid and tiny houses. So what happens when you combine the best of both of those trends? You get the Ecocapsule.
The Ecocapsule is tiny, egg shaped, completely self-contained human habitat that will let you live anywhere in the world.
According to the designers, “Despite its small form each Ecocapsule is fitted with all essentials necessary for a comfortable prolonged stay without a need to recharge or re-supply.
Ecocapsule is powered by a built-in wind turbine complemented with an array of solar cells. Dual power system and a high-capacity battery ensures that you will have enough power during periods of reduced solar or wind activity. Spherical shape is optimized for the collection of rainwater and dew and the built-in water filters allow you to utilize any water source.”
“The body of an Ecocapsule is covered with 2.6m2 of high-efficiency solar cells and a retractable pole holding a 750W wind turbine is further attached to the body. This creates an energy system that can support you almost an entire year in many off-grid locations. Ecocapsule fits into a standard shipping container and no special preparations and precautions are necessary to transport Ecocapsule worldwide. It can be shipped, airlifted, towed or even pulled by a pack animal.”
The Ecocapsule is built for comfort, function, and most importantly – complete sustainability.
The Ecocapsule was designed by Nice Architects -a young architectural studio based in Bratislava, Slovakia. The architect’s group philosophy is one of love and forward thinking problem solving to the address the issues we currently experience, and the issues we predict to experience in the future. The Ecocapsule is just one of many innovations that Nice Architects are designing to improve the world. “Our project range is wide – from interiors, family houses, public and residential buildings to urbanism and urban and landscape design. Our specialty is housing architecture in all its forms: affordable, experimental, energy efficient as well as social housing. While we strive to push the limits of architecture as far as possible, our projects are always driven by the “Love and Logic” motto – create out of love and never make something that does not make sense. We love to produce surprising ideas, optimistic visions, lifeful strategies and innovative projects in architecture and related fields. We are constantly bringing new and fresh perspectives into our work. We are rethinking the old ways of creation and are integrating into our work knowledge from new fields as industrial design, technology, art, psychology, science, sociology and life itself. We combine beauty, functionality and humanity into one complex entity.”
The Nice Architects will be offering their first public demonstration at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna – Europe’s Major Conference for Tomorrow’s Ideas.

FINALLY, A Guide to What You Should and Shouldn’t Post to Social Media
We all see it every day, sometimes several times a day” questionable social media posts. With the explosion of social media, people tend to forget that people like EMPLOYERS look at social media posts when interviewing potential employees, or even reviewing current employees. Called in sick to work on Wednesday, and there are pictures of you partying Tuesday night on Instagram? I bet an employer wouldn’t be thrilled about that…
Another thing about social media that people don’t ever consider is that what goes on the internet doesn’t simply just go away. Social media posts can be recovered even after being deleted, so before you post that questionable post/picture, please refer to the following infographic from OnlineClasses.org. Taking a second to consider whether or not you should post something to social media is not just a good idea for representing yourself correctly to potential or current employers, it actually makes your social media output more bearable to everyone else on the internet. Just because this infographic is geared towards what recruiters and employers are looking at in reference to your social media posts, trust me – it the same rules apply for your friends.

A New Study Shows that Anti-Cannabis Claims are Wrong. Again.
A recent study that was published in the Psychiatric Research Journal is shaking up claims made by drug prohibitionists’ that cannabis usage is responsible for psychotic episodes in teenagers. As it turns out, that simply isn’t the case. Sorry, anti-cannabis crowd, science wins again.
As it turns out, the research done by the Center for Brain and Cognitive Development, Department of Psychological Sciences, Birkbeck, University of London, the University of Oxford and the University of Leeds has shown that although there is a correlation between cannabis usage and psychotic episodes, cannabis is not the CAUSE of the psychotic episodes. By interviewing a group of over 4,800 twins, the study concluded that just because a teen smoked cannabis or had a psychotic episode of some kind, one did not cause the other.
What they did find is that there were several environmental factors ranging from poverty to bullying that lead to both cannabis use and psychotic episodes. Basically the same environmental factors that lead to teenagers smoking cannabis ALSO lead to psychotic episodes, not BECAUSE of cannabis use. This is important research because it is another case of the anti-cannabis movement using false correlations to demonize cannabis use. Correlation is not causation.
If you think about it, the correlation makes sense. Teenagers in bad socioeconomic situations or bad social environments would tend to turn to cannabis as a means for dealing with their situations. Those same conditions turn adults to use anti-depressants and other pharmaceuticals. The anti-cannabis movement is losing ground in their propaganda campaigns designed at scaring parents into demonizing cannabis use by making false claims as more and more legitimate research is done. Personally, as an adult, I’d much rather turn to cannabis than taking other pharmaceutical “treatments”, so why should we blame teens for doing the same thing?
In honor of good, positive, peer reviewed research that is changing the way that people thing about cannabis and its effects, watch these grandmothers smoke weed for the first time:

A Cancer Survivor Designs the Cards She Wishes She’d Received From Friends and Family
Los Angeles–based designer Emily McDowell was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma at age 24, enduring nine months of chemo and radiation before going into remission.
“The most difficult part of my illness wasn’t losing my hair, or being erroneously called ‘sir’ by Starbucks baristas, or sickness from chemo,” McDowell writes on her website. “It was the loneliness and isolation I felt when many of my close friends and family members disappeared because they didn’t know what to say, or said the absolute wrong thing without realizing it.”
The 38-year-old designer has been cancer-free ever since. But the emotional impact of the experience lingered, inspiring her to design a newly launched series of Empathy Cards—emotionally direct greeting cards that say the things she wanted to hear when she was ill.
She hopes that the Empathy Cards provide “better, more authentic ways to communicate about sickness and suffering” between patients and friends and loved ones suffering from cancer, chronic illness, mental illness, or other hardships. They are by turns earnest and world-weary, and good-humored without false cheer.
“Get well soon” cards “don’t make sense when someone might not,” McDowell writes. “Sympathy cards can make people feel like you think they’re already dead. A ‘fuck cancer’ card is a nice sentiment, but when I had cancer, it never really made me feel better. And I never personally connected with jokes about being bald or getting a free boob job, which is what most ‘cancer cards’ focus on.”
McDowell told me in an email that although she based the card ideas on her own experiences, she released some sketches on Instagram for feedback while the cards were in development, adding that she often uses the site “as a kind of focus group while I’m working, to see what ideas resonate with people.”
The card designs follow McDowell’s signature style, which leans toward bright colors, minimal imagery, and homey type that she hand-draws in Photoshop with a digital pen. I asked her if she gave any special consideration to colors or images or other design elements given the subject matter.
“I feel like people with an illness are people first, so I didn’t want to treat the aesthetics of these differently from the rest of my collection,” she said. “They did end up skewing a bit more feminine than I intended, though; future additions to the collection will be more gender-balanced.”
With Empathy Cards, McDowell’s goal is “to help people connect with each other through truth and insight,” she writes. “I want the recipients of these cards to feel seen, understood, and loved.”

How to be Better at the Hardest Things We Face in Life
In life there will always be things that we have to endure, that no one wants to have to go through. That’s just how life works. Just because some aspects of life are inevitable, doesn’t mean that we can’t take a better mental and spiritual approach to them. I like it think of it like this: Even the best boxers have to learn to take a punch. You can be the best boxer in the world, but if a single shot to the chin collapses you like an ill-stacked house of cards, you’ll never win. Life is very similar, in that you have to learn to take the bad with the good. Here are 4 things that no one wants to be good at, and how you can handle them like a champion.
Grief:
As much as death is a part of life, there are few things in life that are as devastating as losing someone close to you. No matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs may be, it’s important to accept that in the end – death is unavoidable. I understand that in some cases, the timing is sudden or the circumstances are unfair. But then again, when is death ever fair? When is death ever timely? In times of grief look to the people around you and understand that they are all feeling the same emotions that you are. When you begin to console and grieve with others in the same position that you are in, you may find that you are the rock that others look to for support and strength, and that is more important to them than you will ever know. Grieving is not an individual activity.
Heart Break
Nothing in this world can shake a person to their core quite like a good, old-fashioned, intense, heart-shattering breakup. All of the sudden a part of your life is just simply gone, and you know what – that is okay. For some, a breakup can be a relief, and for others it can be crippling. What is important here is to realize that the relationship ended for a reason. Even when you say, “well we could have worked things out”, clearly you are saying “we could have continued to struggle to make something that wasn’t working, work.” If both parties aren’t involved in “working things out”, then it will never work. Sometimes you just don’t want to be in a relationship with someone anymore, and that is okay. If you are the person that is on the receiving end of that kind of breakup, understand that there is someone in the world that wants to be with you, and that is more important than someone who doesn’t want to be with you. In so many breakup situations I hear people say, “well, what is wrong with me?” and the real question is “what is wrong with them?”
Disappointment
The most important aspect of disappointment is: are you disappointed in yourself – or someone else? There is a difference in being disappointed in yourself and beating yourself up. Disappointment in yourself is somewhat natural, but is rarely constructive. The same goes for being disappointed in others. Instead of dwelling on a failure, or on someone else’s failure, instead focus on where the problem can be corrected. Focus on new solutions, not old problems. What is done is done, and cannot be undone. I know that sounds so much easier than it can actually be in life, but it is an important mindset to maintain.
Failure
No one is perfect. For the people that just thought to themselves, “well I am close”, let me say that again: No One Is Perfect. We will pour our hearts and souls into things in our lives that simply will not work out. The funny thing about failure is that you can either let it destroy you or build you up. The choice is purely yours. If you see failure as a dead end, then you’ll never get past it. If you see failure as a speed bump, you’ll keep rolling forward in life. It is as simple as that. Just remember:
One constant truth about life is that it is always going to be throwing punches at you, and although you may be able to dodge some of them, eventually one is going to connect. Maintaining a good attitude, and focusing on moving forward are the two keys to not getting knocked out.

Teen Named Valedictorian – Shocks His Classmates When He Reveals He’s Homeless
“People think dreams aren’t real just because they aren’t made of matter, of particles. But Dreams are real. They are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.”- Neil Gaiman. Accomplishment of dreams isn’t possible for everyone. Because not everyone has the determination and belief to make dreams come true. And those who have a firm belief will ace it defying all the odds. The story of Griffin furlong is an example. This homeless teen graduated with a 4.65 GPA from the First Coast High School despite his homelessness, his mother’s death and numerous hardships. His story is very inspiring with the message of never giving up. He says: “Never let anyone tell you, you can’t do something because I have been told that all my life. People would tell me I wasn’t smart enough and now I am here at the top of my class.”
Furlong, 18 endured his way to becoming class valedictorian against all the odds. When he was 6, his mother died from leukemia. His journey of living in shelter homes started when he was 7. He also endured periods of starvation when survival became very tough. But even though, he never quitted rather he was determined to achieve success and a better life for his family. Doing well in studies, acing scholarships and making his way to free education was his scheme that he fully lived up to. Things turn up in his favor because fortune always favors the bold.
Very few people knew about his hardships but achieving the honor of a valedictorian has given him an amazing exposure. The world knows him now, his inspirational story. He is all set to attend Florida State just like his brother where he plans to major in engineering. He has recently received a scholarship to pay for his home allowance. The bottom line is when you believe you can do it, you will do it. And remember:
“When you want something, the entire universe conspires in helping you to achieve it”- Paulo Coelho.

12 Weird Things About Australia (Even Some that the Natives Might not Know)
On the world stage, Australian’s are often painted as sun-tanned surfers who also live in the outback, where they avoid the most dangerous animals on earth, all to end the day with a cold Foster’s beer in hand and a shrimp on the barbie. As is the case with most stereotypes, this isn’t even close to the truth. Although, I do imagine Crocodile Dundee would have been an interesting person to spend a day with. In truth, Australia has rather interesting and humorous beginnings which have carried on into present day.
The first “currency” used in Australia was rum. When New South Wales Corps, the first permanent regiment, arrived in the colony in 1790 they became known as the Rum Corps because of their trade rum. This choice of payment was used to pay convicts for menial labor and military officers in lieu of money.
In Australia there are almost 100,000 more women than men, with six out of eight states and territories experiencing a man drought.
Tasmania grows roughly 85 percent of the world’s thebaine, an opium poppy extract used to make OxyContin and a family of closely powerful prescription drugs that have changed pain management over the last 20 years. Tasmania also accounts for a quarter of the world’s morphine and codeine, two older painkillers from opium poppies that are still widely used.
In Victoria, it is illegal to wear hot pink pants after midday Sundays. This law is no longer in practice, but it has yet to be repealed. I supposed they assumed it gave the government some character.
The Marree Man is a 4 kilometer long depiction of an indigenous character that was carved in the desert over a decade ago. No-one knows who did it or why. The area that bears the drawing is owned by two different indigenous groups who have argued over how the land should be used. As it is now a popular tourist attraction, the current choice is to restore it because it has started to fade.
Australians are well aware of this one! They have one of the world’s slowest internet download speeds ranking 58th in the world slower than Kazakhstan, Vanuatu and Madagascar.
After World War I, significant number of ex-soldiers took up farming within Western Australia. In 1932, their farms faced difficulties by the arrival of about 20,000 emus. The soldiers requested their deployment. The Minister readily agreed and declared war, but things did not go so well. Emus can run fast and are difficult to target, they are also skilled in hiding behind trees. In one battle, the military ambushed 1,000 emus and managed to only kill a dozen. Overall, they killed roughly 200 emus and left the rest to roam free after the humiliated Prime Minister announced defeat and stopped the campaign. One politician suggested that the troops be awarded medals; another retorted that the medals should go to the emus, since they had “won every round so far.”
Lake Hillier is bubblegum pink! No-one fully knows why. Scientists speculate that the color comes from a dye created by bacteria that lives in the salt crusts.
In 1832, three hundred women convicts stood as one and bared their backsides at the visiting Governor during an assembly. The convicts at the Cascades Female Factory collectively spun around, lifted their skirts and slapped their bottoms at the Governor, Sir John Franklin, his wife and the reverend William Bedford “making a not very musical noise’’. Apparently, the ladies in the governor’s party were unable to control their laughter. This event takes the words “flash mob” to a whole new level!
In 1789, The Night Watch and the Row Boat Guard were appointed by Governor Phillip. These men were drawn from the ranks of the best behaved of the convicts.
If you travel along Australia’s east coast you are bound to run into a cane toad race at least once during your travels. They are a poisonous South American toad that can grow as big as dinner plates and breed like rabbits. Before the race begins someone is given the task to collect a bucket of cane toads. They are then fitted with a number on their back to tell them apart. The numbers correspond to names on the board you see above. To make it more internationally competitive, they get names associated with countries and are then assigned to people from those countries that are picked from the audience. One by one they are issued their cane toad, instructed to kiss the toad, and place it in a bucket in the center of the dance floor. Then the bucket is lifted, the cane toads take off and the crowds go ballistic with excitement. The first toad to leave the dance floor will be the winner.
This public ordeal makes me sick. But the reason why they do this, hit me with the force of a cement bag.
What to the eyes of passers-by offered, could hardly be put into words: A young woman in flesh-colored body suit was bound and gagged, until it was delivered to her fate helpless.
Then you forcibly food was instilled until they overwhelmed the gag reflex and she could barely breathe. The 24-year-old Jacqueline Trade was leading lady this herzzerfetzenden representation of a still current practice in animal experiments.
But that’s not all: During the ordeal her mucous irritating chemicals have been instilled into the eyes. And the panic in the face of the young animal rights activist was not played, because we went with her to the limits of reasonableness. And furthermore …
As somber highlight the startling spectacle Jacqueline were shorn hair to the scalp. This part of the torture is unfortunately no longer science fiction. But still sad reality.
But the brave young woman had endure the whole ordeal without complaint about.Just as the animals have to suffer every day and millions of times.
Meanwhile, a considerable number of onlookers and interested observers had gathered in front of the window. Even members of the press were there and believed their eyes barely. Only gradually understood the people what it was about the animal rights activists.
The deeply impressive campaign of cosmetics company Lush, manage their products completely without animal testing should, like wildfire go around the world.
And it is with almost certainly also. If everybody plays their part. Even the innocent animals to love …
Unfortunately, animal experiments are even today still cruel practice. Share this post is therefore essential, because rethinking is long overdue!

She Drank Carrot Juice Every Day For 8 Months: You Won’t Believe What Happened
Ann Cameron is the writer of numerous books for kids, however in this story she is the key character. After diagnosing colon cancer she was even more popular.
In June 2012 when cancer entered in third phase she was operated. This wasn’t her first meeting with the unwanted disease. In 2005 her spouse died from lung cancer, even after he had chemotherapy.
Ann refused to go the same way like her husband and didn’t have chemotherapy.
Her story was written on the Chris beats cancer blog; where individuals give alternative steps for healing cancer.
“I was exposed to operation for colon cancer in June 2012, and then I denied chemotherapy healing. I was feeling well, however after six months the cancer was spread to the lungs, and entered the fourth phase” – she said.
Ann said that she spend her time on investigating through and found the story of Ralph Core who was 26 years old and had skin cancer. He wrote a story about healing his cancer with consuming 2.5 kilograms of carrots juice daily.
She started to drink carrot juice every day with same daily doses.
After eight weeks she claims that medical studies show that cancer has stopped spreading, the tumors and lymph glands began to decrease.
Following four months tissues were back to regular and the tumor has kept on withdrawing.
Following eight months, registered tomography examination demonstrated that the cancer was gone.
The mystery, clearly, is that carrot juice is rich with natural pesticide anticancer properties and greasy alcohol, and carotene from carrots prevents making the tumor cells.
After she cure cancer, Ann Cameron wrote a book Curing cancer with carrots, that you can buy on Amazon.

22 Life Teachings of Confucius
Some lessons are eternal and unchanging. Every now and then, we all need a reminder of what is important. It’s only natural when external forces in life pull us away from our connection to self. Confucius, with his thought provoking aphorisms, teaches us what life is about thousands of years after his passing.
Confucius was Chinese philosopher, politician, teacher and founder of the Ru School of Thought in roughly 500BCE. His teachings form the foundation of Chinese speculation on the education and comportment of the ideal man which paved the way for soteriological doctrines of Buddhism and Taoism to dominate intellectual life at that time. Many historians compare Confucius’s influence in Chinese history with that of Socrates in the West.
His followers competed successfully with many of schools during the Hundred Schools of Thought Era. Confucius’s thoughts received official sanction and were further developed into a system known as Confucianism. His Aphorisms regarding his teachings were compiled in the Analects, which later coined the term – “Confucius Says…..”
In light of keeping with tradition:
Confucius Says…
1. “If you govern with the power of your virtue, you will be like the North Star. It just stays in its place while all the other stars position themselves around it.”
2. “In my understanding of music, the piece should be begun in unison. Afterwards, if it is pure, clear and without break, it will be perfect.”
3. “The noble man is not a utensil.”
4. “To govern means to rectify. If you lead on the people with correctness, who will dare not to be correct?”
5. “The noble man is all-embracing and not partial. The inferior man is partial and not all-embracing.”
6. “If a person lacks trustworthiness, I don’t know what s/he can be good for. When a pin is missing from the yoke-bar of a large wagon, or from the collar-bar of a small wagon, how can it go?”
7. “To study and not think is a waste. To think and not study is dangerous.”
8. “If the noble man lacks gravitas, then he will not inspire awe in others. If he is not learned, then he will not be on firm ground. He takes loyalty and good faith to be of primary importance, and has no friends who are not of equal moral caliber. When he makes a mistake, he doesn’t hesitate to correct it.”
9. “I am not bothered by the fact that I am unknown. I am bothered when I do not know others.”
10. “When the noble man eats he does not try to stuff himself; at rest he does not seek perfect comfort; he is diligent in his work and careful in speech. He avails himself to people of the Way and thereby corrects himself. This is the kind of person of whom you can say, ‘he loves learning.”
11. “The 300 verses of the Book of Odes can be summed up in a single phrase: ‘Don’t think in an evil way.”
12. “Those who are born with the possession of knowledge are the highest class of men. Those who learn, and so readily get possession of knowledge, are the next. Those who are dull and stupid, and yet compass the learning are another class next to these. As to those who are dull and stupid and yet do not learn–they are the lowest of the people.”
13. “You, shall I teach you about knowledge? What you know, you know, what you don’t know, you don’t know. This is knowledge.”
14. “If you govern the people legalistically and control them by punishment, they will avoid crime, but have no personal sense of shame. If you govern them by means of virtue and control them with propriety, they will gain their own sense of shame, and thus correct themselves.”
15. “At fifteen my heart was set on learning; at thirty I stood firm; at forty I had no more doubts; at fifty I knew the mandate of heaven; at sixty my ear was obedient; at seventy I could follow my heart’s desire without transgressing the norm.”
16. “People err according to their own level. It is by observing a person’s mistakes that you can know his/her goodness.”
17. “There are three things of which the superior man stands in awe. He stands in awe of the ordinances of Heaven. He stands in awe of great men. He stands in awe of the words of the sages. The mean man does not know the ordinances of Heaven, and consequently does not stand in awe of them. He is disrespectful to great men. He makes sport of the words of the sages.”
18. “See a person’s means (of getting things). Observe his motives. Examine that in which he rests. How can a person conceal his character?”
19. “Someone who is a clever speaker and maintains a contrived smile is seldom considered to be a really good person.”
20. “Reviewing what you have learned and learning anew, you are fit to be a teacher.”
21. “To worship to other than one’s own ancestral spirits is flattery. If you see what is right and fail to act on it, you lack courage.”
22. “The noble man has nothing to compete for. But if he must compete, he does it in an archery match, wherein he ascends to his position, bowing in deference. Descending, he drinks the ritual cup. This is the competition of the noble man.”
At the Current Rate, by 2025, 1 in every 2 Children will be Autistic
Research done in various countries concludes these 2 truths:
1)There is Evidence — And A LOT of it.
Glyphosate is present in unusually high quantities in the breast milk of American mothers, at anywhere from 760 to 1,600 times the allowable limits in European drinking water.
2) Paying attention to resources not connected to the Monsanto, GM lobbyists and even USDA will help you to see the entire picture here.
USDA released a study claiming that 99% of food samples taken were deemed government safe, but due to costs concerns testing for glyphosate residue were never tested.
1)Buy Organic or GMO free foods.
If you are on a budget, prioritize your animal products (milk, eggs, chicken & beef) to be all organic or better yet grass-fed.
2)Give Up Most of Your Soy, Corn & Wheat foods.
You do not really need to eat chips, cereals, and candies or drink soda regularly, but there are GMO-free & organic versions of all these items in whole food stores if you want some treats. I myself have a bit of a need for healthy chocolates and organic chocolate tastes better in my opinion.
3)Embrace the local markets and farms.
In my area, there are multiple co-op groups who support their local farms. In co-ops, you can sometimes purchase organic, grass-fed, non-GMO animal products and produce for the prices of a chain grocery store or close to due to a group discount.
